About Cutie Clash Pageant

Cutie Clash Pageant was born from one simple belief: every child deserves their moment in the spotlight.
We’re a proudly South African platform built for parents who want to celebrate their little ones — not just within their own family circles, but with the whole country. We created a space where a baby from Soweto has just as much of a chance as a toddler from Sandton. Where a single mom in the Eastern Cape can enter her daughter for free and watch the votes roll in from strangers who think her kid is absolutely brilliant.

We are not a talent agency. We are not a modelling platform. We don’t care whether your child is polished or chaotic, camera-shy or a natural performer. We care about celebrating real kids — messy, loud, hilarious, beautiful, cheeky, shy, and everything in between.

Our Competition

Every month, you can enter your star from newborn to 12 years old. Parents submit their child’s photo and a short bio, our team reviews and approves every entry, and then the country votes.

We’ve built the competition with fairness at its core. Free daily votes mean every family can compete meaningfully, regardless of budget. Multiple prize categories mean more winners every month. And a lucky draw from all voters means that even the supporters — the aunties, the neighbours, the strangers who voted because they couldn’t resist — get a chance to win something too.

Child Safety

We take the safety of every child on our platform seriously. Every entry is reviewed by our team before going live. All submitted photos are watermarked with our branding — making them difficult to download, screenshot, or reuse without visible attribution. We never display a child’s surname, date of birth, school, or any personal identifying information beyond what the parent chooses to share.

Our platform is fully compliant with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We do not sell your data, we do not share your child’s information with third parties for marketing purposes, and parents can request the removal of their child’s entry at any time by emailing hello@cutieclashpageant.co.za.

“He was just so cute. I had to share him with the world.”

Christel
Founder of Cutie Clash Pageant

So she started something different

She is a mom, the kind who has her phone out before her coffee is even poured, because her little boy just did something unbearably adorable again and she is not going to miss it.

Like most parents, she started entering him into competitions. Online kids competitions where you submit a photo, share the link, and watch the votes come in. It seemed fun. It seemed fair. And for a while, it was.

But the longer she played, the clearer it became. The same kids kept winning. Not because they were cuter. Not because their photos were better.
But because their parents had the budget to buy thousands of votes, week after week, month after month. The leaderboard wasn’t a reflection of
cuteness. It was a reflection of who could spend the most.
That feeling of trying your best and knowing it simply wasn’t enough because of your budget is something Christel couldn’t shake. And she didn’t think any parent should have to feel it. Not when all they wanted was to celebrate their child.

So she started something different

Cutie Clash Pageant was started with one idea at its core: every child should have a real shot, not just the ones with deep-pocketed parents behind them. A competition where showing up every day, playing games, spinning the wheel, and building a community around your child matters just as much as what you spend. Where the playing field isn’t perfectly level because let’s be honest, nothing ever is but it’s genuinely fairer than anything that existed before it.

Christel’s little baby is still just as adorable as the day all of this started, by the way. He just happens to be the reason thousands of South African families now have a place to celebrate theirs too.

Every child is worthy of the spotlight

Not just the ones whose parents can afford to outspend everyone else.
If your child is cute and they are they deserve a real shot.

Safety is never an afterthought

We’re parents too. Every photo is watermarked, personal details are
never public, and your child’s safety comes before everything else
we do.

Fair doesn’t mean free from effort

We reward the parents who show up daily, play the games, share
consistently, and build real support. That effort deserves to count
and here, it does.
